Alon
Marcus received his licensed acupuncturist
degree from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
in San Francisco, California in 1984, and his Doctor of Oriental
Medicine in Los Angeles , California in 1986. He also trained
in Japan and China where he served his internship at Traditional
Chinese Medicine Municipal Hospital in Guangzho. He studied
Orthopaedic and Osteopathic medicines with several physicians
through the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine. Dr.
Marcus has published numerous articles in both Eastern and Western
medical journals, and the books Acute Abdominal Syndromes
Their Diagnosis & Treatment According to Combined Chinese-Western
Medicine (Blue Poppy Press, 1991) and Musculoskeletal
Disorders: Healing Methods from Chinese Medicine, Orthopaedic
Medicine, and Osteopathy (North Atlantic Books, 1998).
In 1995 he became a diplomate of the American Academy of Pain
Management. He has lectured internationally and taught courses
on complementary orthopedics for several years. In 1997, he
was named Educator of the Year by the American Association of
Chinese Medicine. Dr. Marcus is currently in private practice
in Oakland, California.

Dr.
Gracer has extensive experience in the alternative and
integrative treatment of chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, myofascial
pain syndromes, as well as other chronic pain disorders, especially
those involving the musculoskeletal system. He uses a combination
of medications, injections, spinal manipulation, nutritional and
lifestyle modifications, nutritional supplements and herbs, as
well as a variety of counseling techniques to treat these challenging
problems. He is an expert in and teacher of proliferative therapy.
